What we receive
MiSFY tells us four things about you: an account identifier that means nothing outside our two systems, your display name, your account type, and your country. That is the whole list.
We do not receive your email address, your real name or your phone number, and we do not ask MiSFY for them. Nothing you do here is written back to your MiSFY account, and reading Ground Frequency signed in does not change what MiSFY shows you.
What it is for
Everything we report stays open: the pieces, the charts, the methodology and the corrections log are readable without an account and always will be. Signing in is for the reference layer we are building on top of that reporting — the deeper cuts of the data. If a page is worth citing, it is worth leaving open.

Signing out drops this site's cookie and nothing else — you stay signed in to MiSFY. The cookie is set by us, readable only by our server, and carries the four fields above and nothing more. See the privacy page for how it sits alongside everything else this site sets.
